for 1863, with octagonal 4in. barrel signed on a single line, bead fore-sight, colour-hardened articulated rammer, plain cylinder with roll-engraved scene, open iron frame (strong traces of colour), traces of silver plate to the brass grip-straps and smooth walnut grips
