circa 1857, possibly originally a half or full-stocked model, with octagonal 24in. barrel possibly from another, solid iron frame with side-hammer, fully fluted cylinder, chequered walnut straight-hand butt-stock (cracked through and repaired at wrist), iron furniture including scrolled trigger-guard bow and tang, articulated under-barrel loading lever, some heavy cleaning and areas of pitting
