Bohemian, circa 1850, with 4in. side-by-side barrels, silver bands at breech, the top-rib inlaid with a gold gothic letter 'B', plain back-action locks signed 'JOH. FUKERT' surrounded by a scrolled flourish on the right and 'IN WEIPERT' within a similar border on the left, plain slab-sided hammers, chequered walnut half-stock with flared pommel and iron lozenge-shaped cap, guarded triggers and iron ramrod
