circa 1857, with round 5 1/2in. sighted barrel with flats to top and bottom (traces of finish), the top-flat signed 'GEORGE H. DAW, 57 THREADNEEDLE ST LONDON PATENT 1777' (some pitting around rear-sight and beginning of address), London proofs, borderline engraving to the breech-end, double-linked under-barrel loading lever, plain cylinder (some pitting along one side), borderline engraved open iron frame, long-spurred hammer, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip, iron butt-cap and trigger-guard bow, minimal traces of finish
