circa 1860, with octagonal 6in. barrel, borderline engraved top-strap signed 'DEANE & SON, LONDON BRIDGE', plain cylinder, two-part construction borderline engraved frame, spurred hammer, guarded trigger and chequered walnut grip with iron pommel-cap, the whole an older re-blue retaining much of that finish, brushed bright under-barrel loading lever with side-catch release
