Birmingham proofs circa 1835, with round 3in. barrels, radiused scroll engraved white metal actions with blued central hammers and concealed automatic triggers, finely chequered walnut bag-shaped butts with engraved white-metal caps and oval escutcheons to the wrists, traces of finish (sear at fault on one pistol)
