A VERY RARE .32 RIMFIRE POCKET-REVOLVER, MODEL 'NEW MODEL SHELL EXTRACTOR', serial no. 18120,
one of only 150 produced circa 1884, with tapering 2 1/2in. round barrel signed 'REID'S NEW MODEL .32', fluted five-shot cylinder, solid iron frame marked on the right hand side 'REID'S SHELL EXTRACTOR' and fitted with a special 'bolt action' loading gate extractor combined, smooth rosewood birdshead grips, minimal traces only of finish, single action with spur trigger
Other Notes: All references to this rare revolver state it has a brass frame. To our best knowledge this is the only example known with an iron frame, adding to its not inconsiderable rarity.
