circa 1880, with round 3in. barrel, raised sighting rib with crescent fore-sight and signed 'SMITH'S NEW MODEL', solid frame with false hinge giving the illusion of a break-open type, fluted cylinder, colour hardened hammer and spur trigger, chequered gutta-percha grips embossed 'OAS', much original nickel-plated finish remaining
