A 90-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S SOLID FRAME', serial no. 35363,
circa 1860, with blued 4 3/8in. octagonal barrel (much finish), the borderline engraved top-strap signed 'E. THOMAS & CO. MAIDENHEAD', solid borderline engraved frame, plain cylinder with tramline to leading edge, spurred hammer, guarded trigger and chequered walnut grip with borderline engraved heel-plate, the left side of barrel fitted with a hinged loading lever, together with its original oak storage case compartmented and lined in blue baize and complete with a period mould (possibly replaced), cap-tin, nipple-pot, oil bottle and cleaning rod, with a later flask, brass escutcheon missing from case lid
