circa 1865, with scarce 5in. octagonal barrel signed on the left hand top-flat 'E. WHITNEY N. HAVEN', traces of blued finish, under-barrel rammer with traces of colour, solid frame, plain cylinder with roll engraved scene, brass trigger-guard bow and smooth walnut grips
