circa 1866, with round, tapering 23 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, ladder rear-sight graduated to 200 yards (slider missing), rounded boxlock action, straight-hand chequered walnut butt with shotgun style heel-plate, trigger guard forming cocking lever (iron surfaces cleaned and badly pitted, woodwork loose on action)
