POND WORCESTER MASS PAT'D JULY 10 1860', the left hand top-flat marked 'MANUF'D FOR SMITH & WESSON PAT'D APRIL 3 1855', hinged iron frame, the barrel release button mounted on the left, plain cylinder, spur trigger, central hammer and smooth walnut grips (screwdriver missing from heel), traces only of finish
