of Belgian manufacture but Birmingham proved, with round 4 7/8in. barrel, pillar fore-sight, octagonal barrel throat, fully fluted twelve-shot cylinder, rear-sight notch to the hammer nose, double action mechanism, open iron frame, plunge-ejector and chequered walnut grips with lanyard ring at heel
