A 10.6mm (GERMAN ORDNANCE) SIX-SHOT SERVICE-REVOLVER, MODEL 'M1879/83', serial no. 9463,
dated for 1893, with tapering 4 5/8in. barrel, pinched blade fore-sight, octagonal breech section, cylinder with 'church window' fluting, solid frame with side-safe, smooth walnut grip and guarded trigger, the whole retaining strong traces of blue except ancillaries
