for 1878, with nickel-plated 4 1/2in. barrel, fluted cylinder, solid frame, blued trigger and chequered hard rubber birds-head grips, under-barrel ejector-rod, the whole retaining strong traces of its factory nickel-plated finish (grip-straps re-plated in antiquity)
