circa 1840, with octagonal 2 1/4in. turn-off barrels (one frozen), scroll engraved squared actions with carved and fenced snails and engraved slab-sided hammers, the top-plates signed 'YOUNG, BURY ST, EDMUNDS', walnut finely chequered bag-shaped butts, oval escutcheons at wrists and concealed automatic triggers
