being an Irish registration number, circa 1845, with 8 1/4in. sighted barrel signed 'LONDON', white metal bands at breech, engraved top-tang, carved and fenced snail borderline and scroll engraved back-action lock signed 'D. EGG', walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butt, iron belt-hook fitted to the left hand side and captive iron stirrup ramrod
