BIRMINGHAM', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with hidden third bite, finely carved leaf fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 13 3/4in. highly-figured stock (small crack at hand) including horn buttplate, fore-end wood with light damage, weight 5lb. 14oz.
