A POSSIBLY IMPORTANT .41 RIMFIRE VEST-PISTOL SIGNED COLT, MODEL 'THUER'S PAT. No3 DERRINGER', no visible serial number, with 2 1/2in. barrel stripped of finish, the left hand side marked 'INTERNATIONAL MERCANTILE MARINE CO', the right 'J. BRUCE ISMAY' , bronze frame with traces of plated finish, central hammer, spur trigger and later bone or staghorn grips
Other Notes: The name J. Bruce Ismay should need no introduction to anybody familiar with the Titanic disaster. Whilst the engraving is almost certainly spurious, Ismay was a founder of the I.M.M. Co.
