A CASED EXTREMELY FINE .41 (RIMFIRE) OVER-UNDER ENGRAVED DERRINGER PISTOL, serial no. 605,
circa 1888-1912, with probably factory engraved and blued 3in. barrels, blued and engraved open frame with top-hinge, external hammer, smooth mother of pearl grips and spur trigger, the whole retaining the majority of its factory blued finish (faded to high-spots) and generally appearing little used if at all, together with a competently produced wood storage case to take the pistol, a cleaning rod (present) and a block for 12 rounds of ammunition
