A RARE .32 (R/S) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'LANDES POLITZEI 1906 ROTH-SAUER', serial no. C11/LP7,
circa 1906, with unique 'long-recoil' 4in. sliding barrel and bolt, blued barrel shroud and receiver, the top-flat signed 'J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL, the receiver bridge marked 'PATENT ROTH' and 'Sauer' trademark behind charger bridge, removable side-plate to frame stamped with a crown over the letter 'R', internal magazine, chequered hard-rubber grips with 'Sauer' trademark (chipped and cracked), the back-strap stamped 'L.P.7', the whole retaining much original mirror-blued finish and colour-hardened ancillaries together with a rare stripper clip for same
