circa 1900, with tapering blued octagonal 23 1/2in, barrel, broad dove-tailed bladed fore-sight, elevating tangent rear-sight positionable along a raised dove-tail, colour hardened plain action of Martini style and signed 'HRY. RYCHNER, AARAU (SUISSE)' around a Swiss cross device, plain walnut butt-stock with heavy crescent iron heel-plate, double set triggers, the spurred trigger guard bow forming the under-lever, walnut schnabel fore-end and swivels for sling, strong amount of finish remaining
