KENNTNER, HEIDENHEIM', white metal foliate scrolls inlet the breech, colour hardened octagonal receiver inlet with similar scrolls, short straight bolt-handle with chequered knob, no provision for safe, the decorated top-tang with provision for a peep-sight (absent), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist and with moulded cheek-piece, Swiss-style heel-plate, double set triggers with complex spurred guard and horn schnabel tip to fore-end, complete with iron under-barrel clearing rod, much original finish remaining
