A .440 (WEBLEY) DOUBLE-ACTION POCKET-REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'BRITISH BULLDOG', no visible serial number,
circa 1880, Belgian and of Webley style, with ovoid nickel-plated 2 5/8in. barrel, small crescent fore-sight, the top-strap marked 'BRITISH BULLDOG' and with central sighting groove, fluted cylinder, solid frame with loading gate, guarded trigger and chequered walnut birdshead grips, strong amount of original plated finish remaining
