A 54-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT SELF-COCKING REVOLVER, MODEL 'ADAMS' PATENT', serial no. 20793R,
circa 1858, with blued octagonal 5 3/4in. barrel, the top-strap signed 'REILLY 502 NEW OXFORD ST'T, LONDON', dove-tailed blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, borderline engraved solid frame marked 'B5260' over 'ADAMS PATENT' with the serial number, bolted safe behind the plain cylinder, double action only mechanism with spurred hammer, coarsely chequered walnut grip of semi saw-handled form with moulded iron butt-cap and hinged rammer mounted to left side of frame stored backwards towards grip, strong traces of original finish
