** MAUSER 7.63mm (MAUSER) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'C96 BOLO BROOMHANDLE', with holster stock, serial no. 684281, for between 1923-30, with 4in. sighted barrel, the rear-sight graduated to 1000 metres, bolt with short extractor, blued milled-side receiver and frame, the left hand side marked with the 'Mauser' trademark, new-style safety, 21 groove walnut grips of 'bolo' style, lanyard ring at heel, integral 10-shot magazine; together with its matching walnut holster-stock marked with the 'Mauser' trademark (lid a later replacement)
