EX SMALL ARMS SCHOOL COLLECTION
A 54-BORE PERCUSSION TRANSITIONAL REVOLVER WITH FOLDING BAYONET, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
collection reference 0426, circa 1845, with octagonal 5 1/2in. barrel, bead fore-sight, folding bayonet mounted to the left hand side and released via a catch on the action body, open frame with integral nipple-guard, plain six-shot cylinder with scroll engraved band to leading edge and scroll engraved rounded bar-hammer action, guarded trigger and finely chequered walnut grips, the whole cleaned with loss to detail.
