A 10mm PERCUSSION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'MARIETTE'S PATENT', serial no. 115,
circa 1840, with six turn-off 2 3/4in. etched damascus barrels (mostly frozen), rounded breech-ends with rear-facing nipples, reblued rounded action inlaid with silver wire scrolls and vines, under-hammer operated via a ring trigger, smooth ivory grips with inlaid diamond-shaped grip-screw escutcheons and iron grip-straps, the rear with further silver wire inlay, the front marked 'MARIETTE BREVETE'
