A .22 (SHORT) FOUR-BARRELLED DELUXE VEST-PISTOL, MODEL 'SHARP'S PATENT', serial number obscured,
four digit circa 1870, with 2 1/2in. barrel-group, engraved band at the muzzles, the centre of the barrel sides engraved with scrolls and a stippled panel forming a thumb grip, fully scroll and florally engraved brass frame with stippled background, the frame signed 'TIPPING & LAWDEN SHARP'S PATENT' in a circle around the hammer axis screw on the left hand side, centrally mounted blued hammer with rotary auto-indexing nose (mainspring weak), gutta-percha grips with raised foliate design, blued push button opener
