manufactured circa 1912 with later official modifications, blued 4in. barrel, raised sighting rib, machined receiver with brushed bright internal bolt, rear cocking piece with machined thumb grips of concentric rings, fixed rear-sight, blued frame bearing both numbers, external hammer and side-safe, detachable box-magazine mounted forwards of the trigger and moulded hard rubber chequered grips with lanyard loop at heel, strong amount of original finish
