both late 18th century, the first with round 4 1/2in. London proved barrel, flat sighting plane with bead fore-sight, solid pointed top-tang, flat bevel-edged lock with stepped and rounded tail, French cock, semi rainproof pan, sliding safe, walnut full-stock with smooth bag shaped butt, brass furniture and captive iron stirrup ramrod, together with a period lozenge bodied pistol-flask signed 'SYKES', both items cleaned
