AN 11.15x58mmR MODEL 1868 REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK CAVALRY CARBINE, no visible serial number, circa 1870, 20 1/4" barrel, block and blade front-sight, flip two leaf battle rear-sights, the action with faint makers patent and address legend and fitted with a sling bar and ring, regulation iron mounted two piece walnut stock, half forend with one spring retailed solid barrel band. The stock with some bruising commensurate with use, action and barrel band polished bright, barrel with fading blue finish.
