A RARE 27mm KRIEGSMARINE DOUBLE-BARRELLED FLARE-PISTOL, serial no. 1131,
Kriegsmarine issue, dated for 1939 and of the type associated with the U-Boats, with brushed aluminium stepped breech 9in. barrels, long receiver with top, centrally mounted three-position selector, the central position marked 'DOPPEL-SCHUSS', polished aluminium frame marked with a small eagle-swastika and 'M' (badly stamped), side-mounted safe, two-piece chequered walnut grips, under-lever opening forwards of the trigger-guard and smooth walnut beaver-tail fore-end with frontal hand-stop, overall length 15in., weight approximately 5 1/2lbs.
