BAKER, MODEL 'S&W NEW DEPARTURE', serial no. 46449, circa 1905, with nickel-plated 3in. barrel signed by the maker on the top-rib and engraved 'F.T. BAKER 88 FLEET ST. LONDON' along the right hand side, plated break-open frame with auto-ejecting fluted cylinder , grip-safe and chequered hard rubber grips, much original plated finish remaining, with a period full-fla leather holster for same
