probably Greek circa 1800, with octagonal to round 10 1/4in. barrels, the flats at breech inlet with brass-mounted armourers marks in imitation of the Spanish, engraved detail to sighting plane, geometrically engraved brass top-tang covers, plain bevel-edged locks with moulded pointed tails and semi rainproof pans, swan-necked cocks, heavily relief moulded and carved brass full-stocks with bulbous twist-fluted pommels, guarded triggers and en-suite long nose-caps with integral fore-sights, the stocks possibly originally gilded and with niello decoration, one pistol missing its side-nails and with frozen action
