A PATTERN1856 YATAGHAN BAYONET FOR THE P1853 ENFIELD RIFLE, circa 1860 with 23 in. steel blade fullered on each side, ricasso with crown and 'VR', with inspection stamp over, steel hilt with black pressed leather grips, inspection mark on pommel, together with its black leather scabbard with steel fittings, blade with some staining, hilt with some small rust patches, scabbard worn with split stitching, rust and light pitting to steel fittings, shallow dent to locket
