A GOOD EARLY FRENCH MODEL 1866 BAYONET FOR THE LEBEL RIFLE, circa 1866, with 20 1/2 in. cruciform steel blade, quillion stamped with inspection marks, early push-button release, white alloy hilt, together with its steel scabbard, some minor staining to the blade, and patches of light pitting to the quillion, some rust patches and pitting to the scabbard, 25 3/4 in. overall
