A .577/450 MARTINI HENRY CAVALRY CARBINE SIGNED BRAENDLIN ARMOURY, serial no. 92740, circa 1880, with 21in. Birmingham proofed barrel fitted with a wing protected blade front-sight, and carbine pattern ladder rearsight, the knoxform stamped with the crossed pennants trademark of the Braendlin Armoury, and the action stamped on the left "THE BRAENDLIN ARMOURY CO", iron mounted two piece walnut stock, the barrel and action to a grey patina, complete with original rod, the stock with some wear and bruising commensurate with use.
