THE AVANT TOUT. 142 NEW BOND ST. & 226 STRAND. LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll engraving and '2' at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with carved serpentine fences, automatic safety, border and partial acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name in a scrolling banner, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, 15 1/2in. replacement stock, weight 6lb. 11oz.
