circa 1795, with 4 1/2in. octagonal barrels cleaned of finish (some external pitting), underslung spring bayonets released via the trigger guard bows, square boxlock actions with central cocks and borderline and floral engraving, sliding safes to the top-tangs also locking the frizzens, semi slab-sided chequered walnut grips with moulded back-straps and moulded spring belt-hooks fitted to the left side of both actions
