A GERMAN OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD, of uncertain age, being a possible copy or restoration of a World War I sword, with 31 1/2in. un marked single-edged steel blade fullered on each side, brass cross-guard with plain langets, knuckle-guard and hilt, lion's head pommel, wire-bound black painted wooden grips, together with its black painted steel scabbard with brass suspension loops, worn overall, decoration appears crude, grips with losses, scabbard dented and repainted, 39 1/4in. overall
