Birmingham, converted from flintlock circa 1830, with heavy 4in. octagonal barrels, one barrel with traces of an Irish registration number on the top-flat, silver line to breeches, one pistol missing lock, the other with a slightly curved bevel-edged step-tailed lock, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, silver oval escutcheons to wrists, one pistol missing trigger-guard, the other with engraved iron guard and pineapple finial, both pistols missing ramrods (both pistols cleaned with other minor repairs and losses)
