GREENER 12-BORE SINGLE-BARRELLED ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, no visible serial number, circa 1870, 28 1/2in. nitro reproved (in 2010) damascus barrel, faceted breech-end the top-flat engraved 'J.H. GREENER. (DAMASCUS BARREL),', the breech-end engraved with a starburst, 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. 1/4 chamber, back-action sidelock with rebounding hammer, border engraving surrounding a scene of hound flushing fowl, blacked finish, 13 1/2in. stock including buttplate, splinter fore-end with cross-pin release catch, weight 5lb. 7oz.
