A .380 REVOLVER OF WEBLEY TYPE SIGNED R. BURNAND, NEWCASTLE ON TYNE, serial no. 2712, 
 circa 1865, with octagonal blued  4 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, London proofs, moulded solid frame with plain six-shot cylinder loaded via a top-hinged gate, double action mechanism, guarded trigger, semi saw-handled chequered walnut one-piece grip and provision for lanyard ring at heel (absent), fitted with an under-barrel ejector, much original blued finish remaining
