PALL MALL. LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, action incorporating Purdey double bite, patent no. 1104 of 2nd May 1863, use no. 614, and Scott patent toplever, patent no. 2752 of 25th October 1865, use no. 629, bar-action sidelocks with rebounding hammers, best border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of finish, 14 1/2in. well-figured stock including horn buttplate, escutcheon engraved 'JULIE', some repairs to triggerguard, fore-end with grip-release, weight 6lb. 14oz.
