circa 1875, with blued 3 7/8in. octagonal barrel, engraved band at muzzle, sighting groove to the top-strap, borderline and scroll engraved blued solid frame, plain cylinder, swing-out ejector-rod, semi saw-handled walnut grip, guarded trigger and domed iron butt-cap, strong amount of finish remaining and together with a burr walnut veneered storage case with John Blanch trade-label, the tray lined and compartmented in blue baize
