A 20-BORE CONTINENTAL FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL, no visible serial number, circa late 18th Century, probably French, with a cut-down 10 in. circular barrel with indistinct script along the top, indistinctly signed lock with swan-neck hammer, brass butt-cap with ears, metalwork with gold-coloured laquer, worn and stained, stock fore-end cut down, 16 in. overall
