A GROUP OF FOUR PEWTER HIP FLASKS BY DIXON, late 19th Century, each marked 'JAMES DIXON & SONS / SHEFFIELD' plus the trumpet and banner trade-mark that was used between 1879 and 1890, being 1) black big-skin covered glass with pewter cup, 6 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in.; 2) full pewter with cup, 5 1/4 in. x 3 in.; 3) rectangular with engine turning, 5 1/4 in. x 4 in.; 4) plain rectangular, 5 1/4 in. x 4 in.; all with wear and some denting, the two rectangular flasks with some flattening
