A WHITE-METAL MOUNTED DAGGER, possibly South American circa 1930, with 8in. plated blade marked 'INOX', the right side etched with a panel of cowboys, horses and wagons with a central banner marked 'GAUCHA', all within a rope-twist border, the left side with a similar panel but of cowboys and steers with a central mask of a cowgirl, the ricasso stamped with a trademark of a knotted trumpet, the white-metal lozenge shaped hilt tapering towards the blade and with three raised scroll engraved bands, the panels formed between with floral carving and engraved domed faceted pommel; COMPLETE WITH its cast white-metal scabbard embossed with flowers, the central section with two opposed harpies separated by a bird feeding its young, pierced serpent moulded at the tip and cast frog-loop with horseshoe carved mount, horses head and floral carved decoration
