LONDON', large treble-grip action with carved fences, rebounding sidelocks, game and scroll engraving, the lockplates with 'BEATTIE & CO.' in banners, bright and reblued finish, 14 3/4in. replacement semi-pistolgrip stock with pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, matching fore-end wood, weight 12lb. 4oz., with some cleaning rod heads and a letter of correspondence with Geoffrey Boothroyd about the likely age of the gun
